Everytime I burn something to double layer disc using AVS video burner it starts freezing and skipping at the 1:40 mark and starts the whole disc over. Does anybody else have this problem? My AVS programs are all updated. I have a 2010 dell inspirion laptop. I was using verbatim double layer disc. If you can burn double layer and don't encounter problems during playback could you tell me what disc you use and what speed you burn at?

Hello,

Could you please give some details about the problem.

Do you burn DVD-video to double layer disc? Are DVD's made by AVS4YOU software or any other DVD files? Where do you play burned disc, on laptop or DVD player?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Best regards.

You know what I think the problem was I was playing the double layer disc in my 2007 magnavox DVD recorder and it wasn't compatible with those discs. I just tried playing it on my 2010 dell inspirion 1545 laptop PC and it plays perfectly. i guess I need to get an updated dvd recorder.

Yes, it seems explaining the issue. You can bun DVD to two single layer video discs with our software, to avoid the problem watching DVD on your recorder.

I'm having a problem with the Video Editor. Video is completed, I go to produce and burn to a double layer disc 8.5 gb, program goes thru the motions as if its burning, when done, nothing shows up on the disc. I tried the disc in 2 dvr players and on 2 laptops. One is brand new laptop with Windows 7, so it's not the equipment. When I look at the properties of the disc to see what's on it it says file type RAW. Anyone knows how to produce and burn to disc? Any suggestions! Help! Thanks
