Hello,

We've just fixed that bug. So, soon the updated version of AVS Video Converter 6.2 will be available on the AVS4YOU site.

But at the moment, I propose to download the attached dll, unzip it and update your version of the AVS Video Converter 6.2

So, to do it, please:
1. Download the attached file and unzip it
2. Close all AVS software
3. Place the AVSWMVFile3.dll to the \AVSMedia\ActiveX\ folder. By default that is situated following:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\AVSMedia\ActiveX\
and press Replace the existing file
4. Launch the software

Hope to hear from you soon.

I just purchased and cannot complete the dvd download either.

I have the same problem with error message 65536

Tried the steps, I have Windows XP

Do I open or save the new file? Then what do I do with it? There are 3 dots and a file folder

and the AVSWMFILE3 link I don't know what to do,?????

I can go out of that and do the other stesps, program files etc all the way to Active X
and I see AVSWMFILE3 but NO REPLACE feature to hold down, is that because I have Windows XP???

do I right click and delete the existing AVSWMVFILE3

help please, Della

??

and If I do, how do I copy the new file into the folder wiith all the AVS ???

Della Tyson:
Do I open or save the new file?

Yes, please first download the attached file (see the attachment Step_1) and extract the Zip files. For that: right click on the zip file>extract. There you will find the AVSWMVFile3 folder with the single AVSWMVFile3.dll file.

Then, right click on the .dll>Copy. After that, please follow:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\AVSMedia\ActiveX\ There you will find many different files. So, right click>Paste. There will appear the Confirm File Replace message (see the attachment Step_2). Press yes.

In that way you will update AVS Video Converter 6.

Best Regards.

As far as I can see, you use AVS Video Editor program.

Could you please provide some additional information about the problem:

- specify format you save you project to and when you receive this error;
- specify what output setting you select;
- specify the format of you source files for a project;
- inform us about your PC configuration (Operating System, CPU, Ram).

Best regards.
