Hi.

When I go to save my finished project, and select the DivX codec, then click on CONFIGURE, VE 3.5 does not load the DivX configuration utility, instead loads some other codec config utility.

I will post a screenshot later, but why does VE not load the correct DivX utility?

Notice how if you click the CONFIGURE button beside the VIDEO FORMAT drop-down-list box, it calls up the ffdshow encoder configuration window even though DivX is the listed codec, but NOT the DivX codec configuration window...

How do I make VE call up the DivX configuration window?

Hi,

That is known problem. So, please, wait while the new version of the Video Editor is ready.

In any case, if you want to configure the codec, you can launch DivX codec configuration (via Start for example) and set up the presets you want. The AVS Video Editor will use the presets you've chosen.
