I've been working on a project but once it's saved I get the error message "corrupt project or has an invalid format" when I try to open it again. Then the program closes. It happens when I import a video and it doesn't matter what the video format is, AVI, WMV, MPG. I even tried to convert the video with AVS video Converter and it still doesn't work. Everything else seems to work just can't open a saved file which is a really bad thing. I've tried to re-install the software but no help. Anybody got any ideas how I can get my projects back. I just started all this a couple of days ago so everything should be the latest and (a-hem) greatest.

Just to clarify. The projects were created with the current version.
As a matter of fact once I import any video, save as...project, then immediately try open said project I get the error and the program closes.
I don't even have to clear the currect project. It's still there but opening it again once saved it errors out.
I never had a previous version.

Looking forward to the fix (or a refund)

Oh I guess I should also say that everything else doesn't seem to have the error effect.
That is I can use text, jpgs, even use the very same video clip in the chapter box (without actually importing the video).
I can save all that and open it back up just fine. ONLY when I import a video does the error occur.

Okey-dokey, I'll be waiting for it.
BTW I've sinced used some of the other software without a problem so far.
Just one thing, is there a way to select the number of copies you want to make with DVD copier.
I make "family dvd"s and need to make many copies to pass out.

Let me be the first to say THANK YOU!!! This did work for me. I have a large project I am working on and it was frustrating having to recreate everything. THANK YOU...I would suggest updating the download version with this.
