the marker list is not saved with the file.

this is surely a big mistake.

if I'm doing something wrong I apologise, and would appreciate instructions how to save the marker list with the file

Hi James,
Sorry ... but how (and where) can be used audio files with markers?
The fact is the markers are not in the audio file structure (all info remains in the program)
Even if the markers will be saved are you sure that any other audio program will read them?

wow..quick reply.

The markers are only for editing the file. I set up selections using markers (named), and create new files from these multiple small selections. This can be time-consuming so I might want to do it over several sessions, therefore SAVE THE EXISTING MARKERS.

I'm sure you could do this in previous versions of Audio Editor.

Hello James,

Actually, AVS Audio Editor was not developed in the way to work with sessions.

However, you are right, it might be useful to save existing markers and work with them over next session. I will forward your message as a suggestions to our developers to add the function to save markers into the next version of our software. Thank you.
