I just purchased and downloaded the AVS package today and uploaded my .mp4 file (recorded in AAC codec with Open Broadcaster Software) into the AVS video editor and it is not playing audio. The audio is embedded in the video (they were recorded at the same time and are not separate files), and I was able to access everything with Windows Movie Maker, hear the audio, edit the video, etc. But AVS is not reading the audio, and I can't figure out if it's something I'm not doing or if the software is just incompatible (which in that case, I've just wasted $60).

When I play the video, the audio is intact, but in AVS Video Editor, it does not exist.

Strangely, the second file I uploaded works fine, it is just this particular file, so I guess I'll just use Windows Movie Maker to edit it and hope this doesn't happen again.

Dear user,

Thank you for the information.

To analyse and resolve the problem we need your source file - that have no sound when imported into AVS Video Editor.
Please unload it to our FTP sever. I will send you the information on how to do it via AVS Support System.

Thank you for cooperation and understanding.

Kind regards

Hi, have you figured this out yet by any chance? If still a no go, any update yet on your source file too?
