I didn't know about this option (it's a brand new machine). But I tried both options with AVS Video Converter and they both hung. Got any more suggestions?

It's a pity that this option did not work. Try disabling Nvidia driver in Device Manager.

For it click right mouse button on My Computer and open Properties, find Device Manager and run it.

In Device Manager follow Video Adapters>Nvidia. Disable it via context menu.

Then try running AVS Video Converter.

Please inform about the results.

That WORKED. I can deactivate Nvidia when I want to use the AVS routines - no problem. But, do you guys know what the fundamental problem is and are you working on a solution?

Thanks for the help

Hello,

Could you please specify your PC configuration? Do you have Dell XPS?

Best regards.

Hello,

Please attach a screenshot of your PC configuration: right-click My Computer, choose Properties, make a screenshot of the General tab. Please specify the model of your video card.

Best regards.

I have the same issue.
Purchased the entire AVS suite.
Video Convertor just hangs at "Initiailizing Conversion"
I have tried selecting, within the nvidia control manager, to use the Intel HD graphics, both globally, and for opening the video convertor.

Lenovo Thinkpad W520
Intel HD Graphics & nVidia Quaddro 1000m
8 GB RAM

Any Solutions
