My o/s is Win XP and I have run many AVS4You programs including AVS Disc Creator version 3.5.5.408 since March 2009 with no problems.
Suddenly for no reason, when I try to run Disc Creator, I get the message “AVS Disc Creator has encountered a problem and must close.”
All other AVS applications however run OK.
In an attempt to solve the problem, I have unloaded all AVS applications,
Removed all ‘AVS4You’ references from the registry and removed all AVSMedia etc files from their respective locations.
From this “clean” installation I have reinstalled AVS Disc Creator (which also installs Software Manager and Cover Editor), but get exactly the same problem.
I have also tried downloading and installing the latest version of Disc Creator,
But get exactly the same problem. Again, the latest versions of all other AVS applications work OK.

Sorry for the late response.

Have not you installed another burning software before AVS Disc Creator started giving a error? or maybe some service, like decrypter DVD43, etc. If yes try disable or loading it off and run AVS Disc Creator. Does the error persist?
