Everytime i try to produce, it comes up with an error message. the screenshot is attached. i tried downloading the new version 5.2.2.173, but the preview of it is very very choppy, and i can hardly work on my editing. i uninstalled it and am currently using version 4.2.1.188 the one i was using before. but now it isn't working. the preview is a bit choppy but not as much as the new version, and i can't produce any videos. now i wished i hadn't downloaded the newest version. i already tried asking for help but they kept taking weeks to respond. i've had to wait over a month for them to find a solution but they haven't. I've tried to be patient, but I'm seriously getting frustrated with this program. my details are as follows.

AMD Athlon 600+3.10GHz/Dual-core/Windows Vista Ultimate/2GB RAM/NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT 512MB

The video format is MPEG-4 Video File

Please can someone help me, thanks

Hello,

Sorry but we have not received any support requests from you.

We still recommend you to use new version 5.2 of AVS Video Editor. There should not be problems with preview after files are cached.

Please reinstall the whole AVS software suite using the instructions here and install the latest versions of AVS programs.

If it does not solve the issue, please attach your mp4 file properties (right click on the file in Media Library>Properties).

Best regards.

Every time I try to “produce” a video containing a .mov clip I captured with my Canon 5D Mark III, the resulting file cannot be played by Media Player, VLC or any other video player. I even tried converting the .mov file to .avi using AVS Video Converter, and the resulting converted file was unplayable as well. The video plays fine inside of the AVS Video Editor, but the problem is with the “produce” function. Any fixes for this?

Dear user,

Please specify the version of AVS Video Converter you use.

Do you have any problems with any other files of the same and different format?

Thank you for cooperation.

Kind regards
