Hello,

This might be a defect/RFC/wish, but every time I adjust the speed of an item (that I've earlier dragged down to the storyboard and is just an item in the storyboard), the storyboard resets the time-line (the vertical line indicating were you are) to the start. This is quite irritating when working with lots of little bits, since you've got to start dragging bars and stuff to get back to where you left off.

Steps to reproduce
1 drag a bunch of short clips to the storyboard below.
2 Zoom-in the time line (use the zoom bar to create a detailed storyboard)(for instance one second uses the entire length of the visible part of the storyboard)
3 scroll to a clip pretty down the line
4 right click it and select speed
5 adjust the speed and commit the change (that's clicking [ok])

What I get is that the time-line (the vertical line that shows you were you are in the story) gets reset to the start of the storyboard.

It's the same when I trim or adjust color.

version 4.2.182

Could you look into this?

Thanks in advance,

Michael Drost

Thank you for the information and the detailed description of the problem.
Our developers are working on this issue now and it will be resolved in one of the next versions of the program.
