Hi, thank you for your quick response. As I have said the original video source, named 'original' is from a JVC Everio HDD Camcorder in MOD format which has been renamed to MPG (apparently they are the same). And the AVS Video Editor output, named 'AVS output', is the end product of AVS video creation. As you can see the output file is hazy and the colour is not as vibrant nor are the image as sharp as the original.
Also you can not see here but in a longer project the video often is jerky, it freezes momentary, and sometimes it produces a scratch noise; this is also true when viewing from the output files produced by AVS on my comp.
