Hello,

Please upload the wmv file to our FTP server that will allow us to reproduce the error. I will send the FTP details to your e-mail.

Please precise the preset you chose for the conversion.

Best Regards

Does anyone know what causes this?

Is there a list of error codes anywhere?

If you get this error when trying to convert a particular file, we would really appreciate if you uploaded this file to our FTP server as well. This would help us to resolve the issue. Please also specify the preset selected and the moment the error occurs.

The instruction will be sent to your e-mail address shortly.

Best regards.

In order to convert to FLV, you need to choose FLV profile for the output video (see screenshot).

Best regards

First please make sure you are using the latest version of AVS Video Converter.
Are these Real files from the same source? Could you please send us an example file for testing.
I will contact you shortly.

Regards

I'm getting the same error while trying to convert some of my videos. The error states: "An internal error was encountered (code:12). Please, contact the support service if this error persists." What's strange is it works with some files recorded exactly the same way as others that I'm getting the error on. I have sent a message via support.avs4you.com days ago and still no reply. I'll gladly upload a file I'm getting the error with.

Try please to free up space on your system disc (usualy C: partirion)
If it doesn't help, I'd recommend to send source file for testing.

Please provide some more information:
- the program you are using and its version,
- format and origin of the files imported,
- describe your actions step by step, specify the exact moment the error pops up,
- attach a screenshot of the program interface showing the error,
- specify the OS you are using and attach your PC configuration.

Hope to hear from you soon

I've been trying to find an application that will convert DVR-MS files into uncompressed or DV AVI without altering their aspect ratio. AVS Video Converter works perfectly for smaller files (< 3GB), but when I work with large files I get the following error:

Is there any difference in the trial vs activated versions other than the watermark? I'm reluctant to purchase the software if it isn't going to work for these larger files.
I've tried uninstalling, removing all AVS4YOU registry keys and program folders, and re-installing, but to no avail. I have tried both single- and multi-thread options through the Settings menu. Any other ideas? I am running the latest version (6.4.3.418).

I just realized that if I split the output (by limiting the file size), the conversion completes but the audio is silent for the last second of each output file (which is a bit annoying).
Also, I should mention that the error occurs near the end of the conversion process.
