AVSWMVFile3.dll is not responsible for AVI files, so there was no need to save the .dll. As for Repair, the file which is not registered on your PC does not affect the conversion process, as already discussed in this topic.

Could you provide some more information on the problem:
- make sure you are using the latest version of AVS Video Converter,
- that your original file is not desynchronized initially,
- attach a screenshot of the Advanced > File Information window showing your input and output file settings.

Please try again, there were some problems on our FTP server yesterday, now it should work fine.

I have tried AVI, Flash, MOV and all of them make the audio/video sync out..............the issue is that the video has more latency in the transcoding process than the audio..............is there a setting anywhere to delay the audio a few frames?

What is the format of your input file? Is the original file played without any problems in various players?
If yes, make sure you are using the latest version of AVS Video Converter and attach a screenshot of the Advanced > File Information window showing your input and output file settings.

just started using your software, which is great. But the video is out of sync. What shall i do? i have spent a week putting lots of tapes onto DVD which are no good. Please help. I am converting avi to DVD

The audio/video sync is fine before i transcode them.......the originals are .mov files.................i am using the preset profiles in the program and have transcoded into many diff files.....AVI, FLV. MOV .......the results are basically the same that there's a sync issue...........i'm using 6.3 version of software............please lemme know as my projects are now on hold........thanks......jw

Can't do that the files are 12GB in size. Each file I am converting is between 12 and 19GB.

It is really hard to fix this problem without the actual file. As far as I understand, the files you convert are all from the same source, the same camera to be exact. Could you record a smaller file and try to convert it. In case the issue is reproduced on this small file as well, please send it to us.

Also, what kind of desync is there: does it increase during playback or not? Do you notice the problem when you preview your original files in AVS Video Converter (in the Edit window)? What if you convert to another format, ex. AVI, WMV, does the same problem persist?

The files in question are from 3 different cameras, they all experience the same problem, when converted. What is Desync?

The files all play okay before they are converted using the AVS software. Can you send me a secure e-mail address where I can send 5 GB e-mail to please. I no longer have a video camera I use a flip so I have no chance of recording a smaller clip, sorry. If you give me a number i will call you to go through the issue in more detail.
