I bought a subscription and had AVS Video Editor since last fall of 2010 using Dell deminsion 3000. Got a new hard drive 4 days ago which has a lot of memory space now still using Windows XP. I re-installed it and got a new updated version of AVS Video Editor. After I record the voice message through voice recording it just FREEZES. The blue line doesn't show displaying it on the bottom of recording....it just freezes for a long time and can't do anything.

I followed the directions given to un-install and re-install and it still does the same thing. I switch microphone settings and still does the samething. I didn't have this problem before. I didn't have the chance to do anything else to see if anything else works, because I just put a picture and just record my voice as I usually do, but now I can't do it.

Can someone please tell me how to fix this?

Hello,

Do you have old versions of any other AVS programs installed? If yes, please completely reinstall AVS software suit following the instructions here.

Also try updating or reinstalling drivers for your sourd card.

If it does not solve the issue, please specify the model of your microphone.

Best regards.
