As a suggestion, you may want to allow a fade transition to be added after the last slide in a slide show. It gives a nice effect to allow the last picture to fade to black instead of having a hard cutoff.

Hi,

Is it possible to just fade out a video at the end, rather than make a transition from one section to the next? I can't see what one does to end the video with a fade out.

Many thanks

There is no special function to apply fade out effect for main video at the moment, unfortunately, but you can use the following workaround: add black color after main video (the colors are available in Media Library), then insert Fade Solid transition between the main video and the color.

Hi,

any chance of seeing this as an easily available feature? It is in MovieMaker and I find it very useful to just be able to fade from black or fade to black with one click...?

Also, is there a Zoom Out video effect? Not like the what you get when using the Zoom effect, which zooms you back out of full screen (you wend up with a black band around the image) - I need a feature where at the start of the clip you are zoomed into a particular point, and as the clip plays, you zoom out, to reach the full size image by the end of the clip.

thanks!

We will do our best to implement this function (as a one-click option) asap.

This can be done by adjusting fade in/out areas for the Zoom effect. After you add Zoom, set all the parameters needed (value and coordinates), you can also set the fade in area to make the video zoom in and the fade out area for the zooming out effect (see screenshot). You can find the detailed instructions here.

Hello,

Unfortunately, there is no such effect in the newest version. We are sorry if it may be of any inconvenience.

However, you can use woraround offered by Nadin - Add black color after main video (the colors are available in Media Library), then insert Fade Solid transition between the main video and the color.

I hope it helps.

Best regards.

Wow! Wish I'd known this before I shelled out the $$$ for this program! Such an obvious feature...

Hello,

Could you please specify when you want apply fade-in/fade-out: to text, to audio, to video. For example, you can see how to modify the fade when you add the text

Best regards
