I cannot get a single file to convert. Everytime I try I get the message from windows that the program caused and error and will be shut down. I am using 64bit windows 7 and my computer can more than handle the task.

I understand that, but the windows kernel is identical to the vista kernel. Even when run in compatability mode the program crashes.

Please specify the exact version of Windows 7 OS installed. Also describe your actions step by step and specify the moment the crash occurs (attach a screenshot of the error, if you get any). Does the problem persist no matter which file(s) you convert? Are they from the same source/of the same format?

Looking forward to hearing from you

I am using windows 7 64bit build 7100. I drag and drop the file I wish to be converted into the prgram, I select convert to mpeg (although it doesnt matter what I try to convert it to, they all cause the program to crash). I hit convert, and a moment later the program crashes. I get an error from windows saying that the program has stopped working and will be shut down. This happens with both mp4 and m2ts files. (these are the only types I have tried as they are the only type I have).

On a side note, I have not yet recieved my key via email, can you resend it please? =) Thank you

update: dragging an m2ts file into the program crashes it right off the bat. I tried to convert an mpeg2 to avi, crashed it as well.

Try using AVS Video Converter 6.3. It has become available on our website today and can be downloaded from this page.
Please write back on the result.

The new update has fixed it for me. Thank you very much for your timely response and fix to the problem. I was going to request a refund and go with a free alternative that I found, but your handling of the problem has convinced me to stay with you guys. Not very many software developers understand what customer service is anymore. Thank you again.
