Are you trying to copy a commercial disc that may be protected?

It is a movie if that is what you mean. I have had this program for a year and it has never given me any difficulty untill now. When I select the drive that the disc is in, the program switches from running to not respnding. I have uninstalled it and deleted the files numerous times and reinstalled it. I even tried their new one and it does the exact same thing on any disc that I put into the drives. I have sent them a couple of emails to them since Friday asking them what the issue may be and they have not reponded to me, giving me an answer.

Do you open the program then insert the disc? If so I wonder if the disc is trying to autoplay! How about putting the disc in, letting it start to autoplay, stop your DVD player and then open the copy program. You might also try going to "My Computer" or if tou have Vista "Windows Explorer" and see if you can "Explore" the disc? See if you get the Not Responding massage on My computer of Explorer! This would show if it is a problem with the disc, I think.
