I installed the software several times. Deleted and installed it again. I was sent here being told it is a free ware. But even if it is only a purchasee type software. I would like to be able to try it out before the purchase.
Anyway, Im trying to install the video conversion 6
I continually get the above error when I try to open the program.
Any suggestions?

Hello,

We need more information about the error.
Please send us your PC configuration and try to repair AVS files:

1. Close AVS Video Converter and all other running programs and applications.
2. Next follow Start > All Programs > AVS4YOU > Repair
Inform me about the result

Best Regards

Thank you,
I did the repair but it still is giving me the same error.
On the first install everything seemed to be working fine. I even got the install finished delio.
Then when I tried to open it I recieved the error.
I deleted it and tried again....all the way from the begining starting with the download.
This time it kept runing in circles. It would od the install then do another smaller one, cycle throuhg agin starting with the the install then the smaller one....over and over again. Then after 3 or so times it would tell me it wasnt installed yet....I would do it over again....
Anyway, I just tried the repair and it is doing the same thing.
I have a AMD 1900 with 768 ddr ram.

Hello,

That's strange.

Try to install and launch any other AVS program, AVS Video Editor 4 e.g. Just as a test.

Inform me about the result.

I have the same EInvalidOp error as "Douggie". I tried all suggestions in previous posts to no avail. I'm getting the same results as "Douggie".

I have a Compaq Presario
AMD Athlon XP 3200+
2.20 GHz, 1.93 GB of RAM
Windows XP Home Edition Version 2002
Service Pack 3

Please advise.
