Hi all,

I have only just started using this program, I am using the latest AVS editor, 8.0.4.305.

I have some old super 8 movies I have copied some months back with a DSLR in video mode, taken at 1920 x 1080 @ 24 fps. I edited the resulting mov files and saved them as mp4 in AVS editor.

However, I have now added titles and credits but have forgotten what settings I used to create the original mp4 files. There are multiple presets when selecting file as the save format.

My question is, what default do I use? The end use will be for playing on a PC as an mp4 file. Or do I use advanced and custom?

If custom, what file type?

mp4 iso v1?
mp4 iso v2?
mp4 psp?

What video codec?

What bit rate?

TIA

We recommend you to use the most popular MP4 format (file type "mp4 iso v.2") with H.264 (AVC) videocodec and MPEG-2/4 (AAC) audiocodec. Make a screenshot of the properties of your source videofile and show it to us - we'll advise you which settings to choose...
