I tried an exhaustive search of the forum and attempted multiple uninstall/reinstalls as well as codec updates but my editor will not play audio tracks in the audio mix line, nor allow me to render a video with an audio track in the audio mix line. Audio can be played from the project media library but once dragged and dropped into the audio mix line it cannot be played (except for in the media library) If a video is rendered with an audio track in the audio mix line, I get an Error code 13.

I am using the newest version of windows 10 with current updates on an Asus G752

My previous version of AVS (7.1) did not have this problem.

I pulled 7.1 off a different computer and installed it on the Asus, it repeats the audio problem on the Asus.

Any guidance is appreciated.

1. Close all AVS programs and other running applications.
2. Copy the following link to the address bar of My computer window and press <Enter>:

If you run 32bit PC: %COMMONPROGRAMFILES%\AVSMedia\ActiveX\Repairing.exe
If you run 64bit PC: %COMMONPROGRAMFILES(x86)%\AVSMedia\ActiveX\Repairing.exe

If some of the .dlls are not registered, please make a screenshot of the Repair window showing those files and send it to us.
