Hi there - I have been a long time user of AVS Video Convertor and have always been very happy with it.

I needed to convert some mkv files to mp4 since I couldn't find a mkv player that would work on my Samsung Tablet. I just upgraded from v8 AVS to V9 since the earlier version did not recognise mkv files.

Now, with the latest version I get an error message saying "Specified File Contains No Video Data" when browsing to the folder and selecting a file to convert. These files happily play on my PC using VLC.

Is this a known problem?

Thanks
Nat

Dear user,

Please specify the origin of your video file.

Some video files may contain audio track and image files track, thus they are not recognized as video formats.

Specify the size of your video and if possible please attach it to your next message.

Thank you for cooperation.

Kind regards
