Im VERY VERY interested in getting the AVS Video Editor, I like the simplicity of the editor.

HOWEVER I'm not convinced regarding PRODUCED video quality.

I want to make HD 720p or 1080p youtube videos.

What should i set bitrate and is it in MBPS or KBPS, its not specified!

also audio bitrate only goes up to 320 kbps but google 384 kbps for stereo.

Also it says 5mbps for 720pm so that around 5120kbps correct?
Then how come default youtube bitrate is 2000???


Can anyone clear this up for me? thanks :)
I really do like the editor and it doesn't slow down at all.

The bitrate in AVS Video Editor and AVS Video Converter is specified in kbps.

The maximal audio bitrate is 320 kbps.

are u guys planning on expanding the maximal audio bitrate to 384 kbps as recommended by google for youtube videos?

Also the documentation link doesn't explain LEVELS and bitrate passes in the advanced settings.


Also do you know why top10reviews gave AVS video editor the CON

Yes, our developers are planning to update the software and maximal audio bitrate.

Concerning the output video quality:
Preview quality does not influence anyhow the output video quality. To get the output file of high quality please select the input file parameters like frame rate, frame size and bitrate for the output by clicking on the Advanced button after selecting the format.
