Bonjour,

Merci
Nat

Dear user,

Thank you for your interest.

The issue concerns the caching process in AVS Video Editor. When high definition files are imported into AVS Video Editor, caching process starts automatically to create a file of lower resolution and make editing process easier and quicker. However while caching is in the process, the file playback becomes jerky, so you need to wait while the caching has been stoped.

Let me know if I can be of any further assistance to you.

Kind regards

Bonjour,

My AVS correspondent not have been able to bring me a solution at this day, also I let on the forum a message in the desperate hope to have a solution.
Also I would like to know how many people have this problem and what decision they have taken.

I hope you understand my situation not at all comfortable, but It takes lot of time.

I'd recommend you to do the following in order to try and avoid the issue:

<1> Launch AVS Video ReMaker.
<2> Import your *.mts file.
<3> Remake it.
<4> Work with the output file in AVS Video Editor.

Let me know the result please.

Hi Lynxy,

I have tried your solution with AVS Video Remaker but unfortunately the display in AVS Media Player and AVS Video Editor is always jerky.
In remaker, for this origin file I only have 2 possibilities M2TS or Blue-ray. So the result file is bigger than origin file. Is it normal ?

I have had to pass in no cache in order to avoid the freeze display.

Origin file -> Type = MTS, size 18Mo, 1440x1080, 25 frames/s, debit data =10327 Kbits/s
result file -> Type = M2TS, size 20 Mo, 1440x1080, 25 frames/s, debit data = 12147 kbits/

What can I do to help you

Hi Christian!

I'm sorry the issue persists. AVS Video ReMaker allows to slightly change the video file without re-encoding it thus saving the quality.

Now I'd recommend you to continue the correspondence with our technical assistance manager in Support System to get individual solution.
