Hello

I am using Video Remaker to create avi files and these are being automatically split into 4GB chunks - I am not sure if this is a limit of the avi file or the software - any ideas welcome

thanks

Dear Martin,

Please try to provide some additional information about the issue so we could assist you:
- specify the format and origin of the files you are trying to edit,
- describe your actions step by step,
- specify what happens when the file reaches 4 Gb.

Thank you for the information.

Kind regards

Hello

I am using Video Remaker to trim and then consolidate a number of 4GB MP4 files all containing Movie recording format: 1,920 × 1,080 pixels/30p, 16:9, MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 & Audio recording format: Linear PCM (WAV) 48kHz 16bit.

I add all the files to Remaker one after the other into one project then trim off bits of the files by splitting and then deleting unwanted sections

Using the the default output of AVI when I "Remake" the output is split into a number of 4GB files with the last file containing the balance.

If I use MP4 or MKV as output container I just get one large file

thanks
