I reinstall my pc and now i run windows 8.1.
i installed AVS video editor but i have a problem with wmv file.
i use to register che webcam with windows movie maker. It make wmv file.
i can view this file with media player, but not with AVS video editor.
AVS video editor open the file, makes a blue preview and the video is not displayed.
please help

I have the same problem, with ALL wmv files only. Win 7 was fine but when upgraded to win8.1 and re-installed the preview window shows a blue image and when converted the result is blue as well. Has this problem been resolved? Using v2.5.1.246.

To avoid the issue, please try the following:

- update the drivers of your video card;
- update all Windows drivers;
- update video codecs: you can download K-Lite Codec Pack ver. 10.6.5 under this link.
