I am using the wonderful re-maker to cut up mp4 without re rendering. I play the file and click split, click remake and then have loads of short videos from one long one. It is so much easier and quicker than re-rendering.

But occasionally I want to delete a section. When I do the cursor stays were it is in the time line, and the following video jumps back to fill the gap of the delete section, meaning that I must manually move the cursor back to the last split in order to view all the footage.

I can see the logic in the cursor not moving but, after a delete the cursor is in a pretty random position with respect to the footage now at the point in time. It would be nice if the cursor moved back to point on the time line where the deleted clip began (i.e. where the rest of the footage begins).

An audio wave and perhaps some way of highlighting key-frames might also be useful.

I'd like to have this too if developers have time to check this.
