I like the suite of apps, but my view and experience has been badly tarnished by the poor performance of the updating facility.
I am finding the updating apps extremely problematic to use (I can't get them to work, ever). I shouldn't have to contact AVS every time I want to update, I should be able to get this done automatically. Clearly something in the software design or technical architecture that is specfic to AVS products is creating conflicts. However, since most other software sellers, such as mozilla and zonealarm, even microsoft, don't seem to give one the problems that I have experienced here, I am not impressed at present. I think some focus by the techs on making the updating easier and error free is urgently needed.
