You can install trial version of the software on your second PC, to try burning. I would still say it the the issue with certain disc brand.

Suggest you installing firmware for your disc drive. You can download it follow this link. Yours is vSB06. Then try burning Data CD with AVS Disc Creator. If it does not help, please attach log files in zip archive.

Also, we would appreciate if you try burning Data CD with any other burning software (exactly burn Data CD feature) and tell as about the results.

I played around with copying disc from my desktop and it is working again. I can't tell you exactly what I did differently
this time than previously when it wasn't functioning --- but one thing I can say for sure is IT IS NOT THE BRAND OF THE
DISC. I use the same brand MEMOREX when it was working before, and when it stopped working, and now that it is
working again. .... Same brand - MEMOREX.
