I am using the AVS video editor.

I finished the movie, I clicked on the production tab and it took 1/2 hour to convert. Once it converted it said to burn disc and I clicked that. A message poped up saing that the DVD is not writeable. It is a Maxwell DVD +R 4.7 upto 16x 2 Hrs SP MODE. I tried another disc (same brand) and it said the same thing

What does that mean? What am I doing wrong? :-(

Hello,

Do you use blank Maxwell DVD +R 4.7 or already with some previously burned data?

Regards.

These DVDs have not been used. I tries several of them.

Could my problem be when it asks the type of DVD to use I dont know if it is the PAL or the NYCTS (spelling is a guess). I did try it with both types.

It is a pain because everyime I want to try to burn it I have to convert it and it takes a long time....

Why did it work with the trial package and not when I pay for it? I really liked the trial version better then this version.

Thanks for the details.

There is no deffence between PAL and NTSC.

You don't need to convert video every time to burn it to disc. Try burning resulted video with AVS Disc Creator. As you already saved video to DVD, find it on hard drive (see Output folder) and burn to disc following the instructions here. Please inform us about the resutls.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Best regards.

Hello,

First of all please make sure that you have the latest version of AVS Video Converter and AVS Disc Creator.

If it does work with the updates, please repeat the error and attach log files. You cam find them in the following directories:

for Xp: c:\Documents and Settings\Current User\Application Data\AVS4YOU\DiskCreator\logs

for Vista, 7 - C:\Users\[User]\AppData\Roaming\AVS4YOU\AVSDiscCreator\logs

Also, please inform us about the brand and type of the disc you are trying to burn.

Finally, please attach a screenshot of your disc drive info. ( Drive Info option in AVS Disc Creator).

Regards.
