Thaks for the arguments. Be sure I will forward them to our developers, we will insvestigate the issue deeper. However, we do not plan to implement this feature at lease the nearest future. Sorry if it may be of any inconvenience.

Apparently (I'm not switching so I can't confirm), Avid Studio has a similar function called Time Warp!

That's why I love AVS4you! There's a tutorial on the main page explaining how to speed up a segment. By using the cutting tool, you split off a section, to which you can apply a speed change. It's not 100% what I wished for, but it sooo close. I still have to play around a bit with it, to see if I can smooth the transition some more (transition in speed), but this is an outstanding step forward.

Well done AVS4You! Thank you!

Michael

PS I just went looking for the tutorial, so I could add the link and discovered that it's pretty hard to find the tutorials at all. ....
PPS Found it!! It's in the online help (for which there is NO immediate link on the main page!)

Nice to see this comments from you. I'm playing with the cutting tool myself as of the moment.
