I'd like a single-press button which automatically and uniformally amplifies the loudest sound in a video file to -1db level using the simple Peak Normalize method.

I find the current RMS normalize method used in AVS programs degrades audio quality and integrity.

I've attached a picture of how it's been done in AnyDVD Converter Pro.

Hello,

Actually, our software use peak normalizing to normalize audio. Please note that Normalize and Amplify are different things. You should set Normalize to 90% in AVS Video Editor to normalize sound to -1db.

If it does not help, please try using AVS Audio Editor to normalize audio of a video.
