Using Video Converter 7. Loaded DVD file fine and I clicked CONVERT, the "INTERNAL ERROR - CODE 13" message popped up. Worked fine for months when I was using Video Converter 6. I uninstalled previous program fully before I installed new one (ver. 7). What do I need to do to solve this?

Thank you.

Hello,

Could you please specify which output settings you select for output in AVS Video Converter?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Best regards.

I have this same problem only with Video Editor. Everything was working fine until I downloaded the latest updates to DVD Copy and Video Converter.
I tried running the 'repair' program with no results.
I have Windows XP.
I don't know exactly what you mean by my output settings, but if this helps:
- General - Project: Automatically open last edited project
Preview quality: Medium (however I choose No Preview to speed things up)
-Edit - Timeline: Show sound waveform
Default durations: Transition 2.0 Image/Color 5.0
Scene detection sensitiviy: 0.5
- Processing - Resize type: bilinear Conversion priority: normal
- Environment - Temp folder in C drive 177Gb available
Undo steps: 25

I am trying to put together six MP4 files for an iPod.

I've attached a screen shot of the error I am getting.

Would uninstalling the program and re-installing it fix the problem?

Thank you,
Jim :-)

Disregard. I fixed the problem by uninstalling and reinstalling the entire program. Thanks. Jim

I had the same problem. i upgraded from the free trial version last august and have been really satisfied with the entire program. i am trying to convert some films to MP4 for a tablet pc. i will be travelling long haul soon and these are films i want to see.

The program starts ok then suddenly the internal error comes up.

i have contacted the online help line twice in the last week and have still to even have the tickets reponded too. Sadly i can't remember the licence code i had else i would uninstall and reinstall the wntire thing.

Hello,

We apologize for the late response.

First of all please reinstall the software following the instructions here. Install the latest version of AVS Video Converter which is avaliable on our website www.avs4you.com.

If it does not solve the issue, please provide some additional information about the problem:

- specify the exact moment when the error occurs - at start of conversion process or during conversion after some time;
- specify the format of the files you convert;
- specify which output settings do you select.
- inform us about your PC configuration (Operating System, CPU, Ram).

Best regards.

What is error code 13, please?

I am converting many .flv clips to one long .wmv

About half way through, there are audio cut-outs.

Thanks !!

Hello,

This error usually occurs becuase of defects in audio. Therefore please make sure that your source FLV files do not have audio cut-outs.

Also, please make sure that you have the latest version of AVS Video Converter which is avaliable on www.avs4you.com website.

Finally, if you select your own audio settings for output, please try converting to one of existing profiles in AVS Video Converter.

I hope it helps.

Best regards.

Thank You Vlad,

To answer your questions:

(1) I am using version 8.0.2.493

(2) original .flv files sound fine

(3) re: audio output settings: I did not touch them. I let the program choose the profile.

Any other suggestions please?

I would still say the problem is in files. Do you get this error when some certain file from the list is converted or on different files every time?
