I am totally new to all of this and am using AVS Video Editor 4.

I imported all files from a disc, edited and saved the project.

However my edit will only play if the original disc I imported from is in the drive. I need to edit a reel together from a few discs and email across to people.

Any advice would be really appreciated as I am yet to hear back from support and am started to regret buying the programme!

Many Thanks
Nat

AVS Video Editor project does not consist of video (audio or image) files used in the project, but rather of the links to those files on your PC, that is why if you replace the folder with the files, or extract the disk with them, it won't be able to playback or save the project in AVS Video Editor. For now we recommend you to copy the video you need to use in AVS Video Editor to your hard drive first, then use the program.
