I know two good filters - VDub Deshaker and Mercalli.
The latter being a plugin for a few other video editing programs - like Premiere, Pinnacle, Sony Vegas.
Unfortunately not for AVS.
Is there any kind of plugin / extension for AVS Video Editor?
Maybe AVS developers could get in contact with proDAD GmbH (maker of Mercalli)?

Unfortunately, AVS Video Editor does not support any video plugins currently. However, thank you for your suggestion :-)

. I will forward it to our developers so they could consider adding it to future versions of the program.

I agree with nmbus. A stabiliser addition would be very useful.

Many thanks for the update.

Now all I want (for the moment) are Video and Audio Fade Outs without having to resort to tricks

Will try to think of something else for you. :-)
