Hi,

I have a problem with installing AVS Video converter in XP 64-bits system. When I installed the AVS Video converter and run it, it always remains in the start up image. I also tried to uninstall this program, and reinstall it with the latest new version, but it still doesn't work. I'm very sure it can work in XP 32-bits system in the same PC, and I wonder if this software could work well in XP 64bits because I've also tried to install it in another PC with XP 64 OS? If yes, could you guys help me to solve this problem? Thanks in advance.

Our programs are compatible with 64-bit systems.

Try reinstalling the software once again deleting all the traces of old AVS programs from your PC:
1. Go Start> All Programs> AVS4YOU> Uninstall.

2. Go Start> Run... Print regedit in the opened window and click Ok. In the opened Registry Editor window please find and delete all AVS4YOU folders:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > AVS4YOU (delete it).
HKEY_CURRENT_USER > SOFTWARE > AVS4YOU (delete it).

3. Go Local Disc (C:) > Program Files > AVS4YOU (delete it).
Go Local Disc (C:) > Program Files > Common Files> AVSMedia (delete it).
Go Local Disc (C:)> Documents and Settings> All Users>>Application Data>AVS4YOU (delete it).

Now download and installed the latest version of AVS Video Converter.

If this does not help, please write back.
