I used as different program last year ( forget the name )
you could take the audio clip and make it "match the end time" of a selected video clip

how can I do this now?
when the video ran out - the audio keeps playing - guess I could 'trim' the audio somehow
but that would sound bad - with an abrupt ending?

suggestions?
even a volume fade down to zero might be ok

You can make audio clip match the end of your video manualy (move the end-time area as it is shown on screenshot attached)

thanks - will try - but, do you know what happens?
does the pitch change - or other audio effects
or just the 'tempo' of the music

I just tried this
all it does is clip (crop) the end of the audio to match the end of the video
looking for a way to make a NICE ending (eg fade volume)

will try the audio editors . . . maybe it is hidden in there

. . . thanks for suggestion :)

yep
the feature to fade the volume of a clip is IN the AVS Audio Editor
it is a SMALL hassle to have to go into the DVD author
(and or Video Editor)
then measure the Video time segment (for 'time')
then go into the separate program to 'trim' the audio and re-import it into the
video editor/author

. . . but at least it DOES work ! :)

maybe a future release can have at least the ONE audio 'trim' feature(s)
(ie fade clip to zero volume to match end of video)

still - the AVS suite of video/audio editors is GREAT
in the past I have spent hundreds of dollars and received WAY less
features/performance !

Bravo

very good idea, I'm sure the effect will be released in next versions.
