I Continually get error code 7 at about 82% compilation of my files. I have sent 3 emails in the last two days and thus far have recieved no assistance at all. I am trying to combine 4 .avi files into one .avi edited video.

3 files are 640x480 15 fps, about 30 seconds each.
1 file is 720x400 30 fps, about 8 minutes.

I cant send you my files because you do not accept .avi files, odd as that may be...

A phone number for tech support would be very helpful. Waiting two days with no response is NOT.

Please upload your H.264 mpeg to FTP server. The instruction will be sent to you on the support page.
Make sure that you are working with the latest version of the VC6:
Current Version 6.3.1.367
Specify the source of the file.

I am having the same problem. I only get to 2.3% of the file compiled and a 'Code 7' occurs.

I am compiling the wedding video and the new wife is not happy things are'nt going smoothly.

I dont want to have to wait 2+ days for a response from Tech support.

Any suggestions on how to fix this constantly occuring 'code 7'?

Most likely, there is not enough space on disc C: for saving temp files, therefore the error occurs. Try cleaning up some space or redirect the temp files to another hard disc.

Hi I've started getting this error message.
I divided a file into two parts and downloaded them separately.
That didn't help.
One file was okay, the other came up with the error message.
Has anything been turned up on this yet please?

Does the error occur when you convert this second file only? What if you take a completely different file which has the same size and try to convert it to the same format as before, does the error pop up in this case? If not, probably the error is caused by this particular file (second file) you have failed to convert. Then we'd need this file for testing.

Relax it's not you PC it's your source video. I did every upgade possible several reinstalls and conversions failed on different videos. What I found out is that it actually failed on the same spot on whichever video I was converting.

It fails due to scramble video pixalation in the source. Fast foward the last part of the failed output video you have then fast foward to the same place on your source file and watch it carefully and you may see a serious video glitch.

I tested my finding by editing out the good part of the beginning and let it start the convertion about 2 minutes before the curruption and it failed at that very spot.

Is it possible to have a prescan built in to check videos before conversion so we can edit out the problematic section?
