Just got AVS Media player 3.1 and can't seem to watch movies without the screen going to sleep after certain time. The old version and other players don't do this. Is there any work around?

I don't think this is connected with the software functionality. You need to check up your monitor power settings. The display can be switched off after a certain time due to settings applied in power options properties.

No. The program should be ignoring the power settings when used in full screen. Like other programs do.

I've reported on the problem to our developers and they say, such problem really exists.
In a month or so we are planning to release a new version of AVS Media Player where this bug will be corrected.
