Hi, I'm a registered user running version 5.1.1.380 of AVS Audio Converter.

Today for the first time I attempted to convert several .M4A format files (taken from a Mac) into MP3 files to play back on a PC.

Each time, the resuting MP3 is missing the last 3 to 5 seconds of each song.

I then tried converting to WAV, and the same thing occured.

Is this a known problem, or am I doing it wrong?

Thanks,
Kwake

We'd be glad to do some testing for you. Please attach a short M4A file you have failed to convert properly (please zip it first) and specify the exact preset you have chosen. Describe your actions step by step.

Thank you in advance

Unfortunately, the file you have attached cannot be opened. Please could you zip ot first or better upload it to our FTP server. I will send you the instruction per e-mail.

Sorry about that, I forgot to Zip it. Here is the file again, but compressed.

I have talked to our developers and they say, this is a known problem. It will be corrected in the next version of AVS Audio Converter, so that'd be great if you waited for the release.

Best regards

hallo, I imported an audio track to my video project - the audio is 02:47 long but when I drag it to audio it gets cut off to 50 seconds. Only the first 50 seconds of the song would play.

I've tried to convert to file (mp3) to several formats including wma and wav but that doesn't solve the problem.

Hope you can help, thank you.

Hello,

First of all please make sure that you have the latest version AVS Video Editor 5.2. It can be downloaded from this link.

If it does not solve the issue, we need your file to solve the problem. If the files is less than 10 mb please attach it to your message in zip archive., if more, please upload it to fileshare source, for example www.filefactory.com

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Best regards.

Hello all

I am a first time user of avs4you and like to convert some OGG format to mp3. I managed to do that but every audio I convert the end is cut off by roughly 1 second. Example; the audio is 10 second long the converted mp3 is 9 second. I have a fully licensed version of avs4you so I really don't understand why the last bit is cut off. I find no option to edit the duration time to kind of able to 'cheat' the length of the OGG audio so I can get away with the cut off and still have the full mp3 audio what I need.

Any help please or advise how to fix this? Thank you in advance...:)

Hello,

Please provide some additional information on the issue:
- specify whether the issue persists with all files/formats you convert in AVS Audio Converter;
- specify whether the issue persists, when you select output format other than MP3;
- specify whether the input files play back in full length in the input audio area of AVS Audio Converter;
- specify your PC configuration (OS, CPU, Ram).

Best regards
