I've been having some trouble creating a menu that does not stretch the proportions of the menu when watched on 16:9 televisions. You see, I created a menu with a picture as the background. I made sure to set everything to the 16:9 setting before I burned the DVD. When the DVD finished, my 16:9 videos played correctly on my 16:9 TV, but my menu is stretched. Basically, the image captured inside of the CRT box is being stretched to a 16:9 ratio.

My question is this: Is there any way to set up the menu so that images on the menu are not stretched on a 16:9 television?

You need to click on 16:9 Display button available in the Adjust Panel of the program interface. The boarders will get hidden - this way the menu will be displayed on your widescreen LCD display during the DVD playback.
