My (image and text) overlays end up being black where they are supposed to be transparent. For example, I get black boxes around letters. And a 50x50 pixels .png fills the rest of the screen in black. I tried with several different images, different sizes, transparencies, etc. PNGs, TIFFs, TGAs. Cromakey also gives the same result. Rendering the video doesn't help.

Anyone got any ideas how to solve this?

I had an issue with audio (no sound from audio tracks in video) before, and I installed Audio Editor in the hopes that those .dll files would solve the problem and they did. Maybe I need an extra dll for transparency?

I installed a fresh system recently (Windows XP SP3), and the latest directX and graphics card drivers.

Such a problem has really been found by our developers lately. It will be corrected in the next version that will be released in the middle/end of June. Please wait for the update.

Best regards
