Hi,

Have used the 6.2 version successfully to covert .avi files to DVD but having problems with converting a .mkv file to DVD, it stops at 51% with no error message or indication it has stopped. Just the estimated time left counts up. The .mkv file plays fine using VLC.

Any suggestions (I've already thought about throwing the computer out the window ;-))

Please specify how much free memory is there on your hard discs: on the disc you are saving the converted files to, as well as on the disc where your OS is installed.

Hope to hear from you soon

Our developers have found a problem with large files (more than 4 Gb in size). It happens on quad-core systems and results in a stop during conversion.

To avoid the problem, try running the program in one thread mode. Double-click on ThreadOne.reg attached and click on Yes in the new window. This way one thread mode will be enabled. To return to multi-thread processing, use ThreadAutoChoise.reg.

Please inform us on the result.

Zip file, attached to the nadin's post.
Do you have the problem working with the latest release of Video Converter?
Do you have quad CPU and same problem?
