I imported and placed a MP3 into the sound line on Video Editor 5.01

I clicked in a couple "split at current position markers" on the mp3

My reason is that I want different volume levels at different parts of the audio.

Then I set the audio level on each section by right click -> and setting the gain down/up

The problem is - when the projects plays .. the volume increases between each transition..

It shouldn't do that

Am I doing this wrong?

Hello,

Do you mean there is a sound pop, between transitions? Do you apply transitions at the same position where are the parts splitted?

Regards.

i.e.

I make a 3 split lines and select the middle section to lower the volume on the middle section only..
when I play it - it gets really loud for a mini-second during the transitions

I must be doing something wrong

Thanks for the details.

There is the problem in our software, we repeated it too. This problem will be solved in the next versions of AVS Video Editor We are very sorry for the inconvenience caused! Please use AVS Audio Editor to change volume level of audio track of a video (the effect Amplify).

I hope it helps.

Best regards.

Thanks. I don't mind finding a bug and making AVS better. I love it!
