When I started the project I had 56+GB of hard drive free. I put in 3 frames in the timeline, 1 audio, and started to do edit on a text. Then I got multiple messages of 'Not enough storage .......' messages lined up (See Storage.bmp). This has happened numerous times before also doing similar functions. I ended up rebooting my computer.

My other problem is I have not been successful repositioning a frame on the timeline. (See PushRight.bmp) I am trying to push to the right a little bit the image after I see the cursor turn into a 'plus' so that it aligns with the audio. It just goes back to where it was and also chops the right side of the of stretched frame. Is there a secret or trick in doing this? When I have multiple "'stretched" frames SOMETIMES I am able to do it (10 per cent of the time after trial and error). I still can't figure out how it gets through sometimes. Just pure luck!

Hello,

To avoid error message please download the attach zip archive and run reg patch from it. Then launch AVS Video Editor and try using it again.

As for the problem repositioning frame, actually, it cannot be done on Timeline in AVS Video Editor, as the main video line must be always full, without blank space. I hope I understood you correctly.

If you need any further assistance, we are here to help.

Best regards.

Vlad,

I downloaded the attachment and launched the AVS Editor, got the same problem while editing the text. (See SameProblem.bmp). Or did I fail to folow your instructions -'run reg patch from it' - don't quite understand this. Download, launch AVS Video Editor, started doing the text edit - this is how I did it.

To avoid the problem please completely uninstall AVS4YOU software from your PC. Instructions below:

1. Go Start > All Programs > AVS4YOU > Uninstall.

2. Go Start > Run... > Type regedit in the opened window and click Ok. In the opened Registry Editor window please find and delete all AVS4YOU folders:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > AVS4YOU (delete it).
HKEY_CURRENT_USER > SOFTWARE > AVS4YOU (delete it).

3. Go Local Disc (C:) > Program Files > AVS4YOU (delete it).
Go Local Disc (C:) > Program Files > Common Files> AVSMedia (delete it).

Download the latest version from this link.

Now install the program on your PC anew.

If it does not solve the issue please contact us again and specify your PC configuration.

Best regards

I am also getting the error "Not enough storage is available to process this command" when I am trying to edit text in Video Editor. There is a cascade of popups then the programme locks. I am using XP, 70G free space, have disabled the cache and it is still occuring.

I deleted the old recording and started again and the text editor is working at the moment.

Please, specify your OS and PC configuration.
Try using the file (attached) it will disable some "heavy" features, it may resolve the issue (add the info ito the Windows registry)
Looking forward to hearing from you

I too, am having this problem. I am using V. 6.2.1.222.

To me, it appears to be with certain files maybe something in the video stream.

Here is my process of deduction.

I captured 5 files using another software and saved them in .ts format, the aspect was 1280x720.

I was able to load the first three, trim them and add them to the timeline.

When I attempted to load the fourth and largest file (over 4Gig) I got the same error and result listed in this thread.

At first I thought it was because the file was over 4Gig or the project was too large.

I skipped the 4th file and imported the 5th with no problem so the project size wasn't it.

I closed the Editor and restarted it, attempted to load the 4th file by itself and got the error and freeze.

I did the things listed in this topic to fix it but nothing worked.

I d/l'ed several .ts repair programs, ran them on the 4th file and there were no errors found so I recaptured the file but it still comes up with the same error when I attempt to import it.

My next step is to again, recapture it but to break it down into smaller files to attempt to narrow down what in the stream is aggravating AVS Editor.

Will keep you posted.

Deduction Continued:

Instead of recapturing the file from the previous post I attempted to convert it to another format using AVS Video converter.

AVS Converter froze while attempting to load it and had to be terminated via Task Manager. I tried it several times with the same result.

On a whim I used another program to attempt the conversion and it had no problem converting the file to mpeg2.

I then went back to AVS Editor and the file loaded, trimmed, timelined and produced without a problem.

I don't know what is causing this but having AVS Editor and AVS converter freeze on the same file while another editor and converter handle it fine might be more than just a coincidence. It might be something in the code related in both programs.

Just thought this information might help.

BTW: I am still going to attempt to capture the file again in smaller sizes to attempt to find out the exact spot in the video stream that causes AVS to error and freeze.

Once I locate it I will send the video clip for you all to evaluate.

I'll keep you posted.
