I'm trying to use AVS Video Converter to convert a video to work on my Sansa Fuze and when I put it on the device it always says unsupported video. Playback of the files on my pc is great, quality looks good, not choppy.

I'm trying using the following settings:

Convert VOBs - ToAvi
Video Codec - Divx Mpeg-4
Framesize - 224x176
Framerate - 20fps
Bitrate - 512
Audio Code - MP3
Channels - Stereo
Sample Size - 16bit
Sample Rate - 44100hz
Bitrate 96kbps

Any ideas on what I might have wrong?

We are planning to offer a new preset for Sansa in the next version of AVS Video Converter. That'd be really great if you waited for the release.

Kind regards

The following output profile works with my 8Gb Sansa Fuze:

Video Codec : MPEG4 (Divx/XviD compatible)
Frame Size : 224x176
Bit Rate : 667
Frame Rate 20fps

Audio Codec: MP3
Sample Rate 44100Hz
Size 16 bit
Bit Rate 96Kbps
Channels: Stereo

The only poblem is that the AVS Video Converter (7.0.2.452) boms out with an error at the end of the conversion, but the file plays OK on the Fuze.

All the best

Hello,

Could you please give more details:

- what error do you get? please attach a screenshot.

- specify the format of the file which you convert. Does the error occur converting only one certain file, or other files too?

Best regards.

I'll try some more conversions over the next few days and post the result.

Best regards
